One of the top studio recording oboists in the country, Diane Lesseris the principal oboist of the Greenwich Symphony Orchestra, The New York Pops, Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra, Voices of Ascension, Oratorio Society, Sacred Music at a Sacred Space at St. Ignatius Loyola, Great Music in a Great Space at St. John the Divine, and the National Chorale.
She can be heard on recent recordings accompanying Cynthia Erivo, Madonna, Paul Simon, Amy Winehouse, Lena Park and Barry Manilow. Ms. Lesser has recorded for movie soundtracks such as Fargo, The Stepford Wives, The Untouchables and Twilight, TV and radio commercials, and performed at such diverse venues as the Grammy Awards, Sesame Street, the 1992 Olympics in France, Z100’s Jingle Ball, The White House, and as soloist at Carnegie Hall with Alexander Schneider. She performed in the Roundabout Theatre production of She Loves Me at Studio 54 under the baton of Paul Gemigniani, and at Madison Square Garden's Mass for the visit of Pope Francis.
Most recently, Ms. Lesser was heard accompanying Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga on WCBS TV’s, One Last Time from Radio City Music Hall.
